Hotel Kaštel, situated in the monastery building, owns a replica of the Francopan family coat of arms which the guests can view at the entrance near the reception. In the passage from the hotel to the church you can learn about the life of the famous miniaturist Julije Klović, also known as “Miniature Michelangelo,” who was born in this area (in Vinodol) and who started his education in this monastery.
